Def: An imperative sentence is a type of sentence that gives a command, makes a request and gives advice, According to the Collins Dictionary, “An imperative Sentence is one that is used to denote “a mood of verbs used in giving orders, making requests, etc.” According to The Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “An imperative sentence as one that has the “power to restrain, control, and direct.” Examples:- Please, give me your pen.

Kinds of an Imperative Sentence:
There are two types of Imperative sentence.- Positive Imperative Sentence.
