The person given in the picture is the former President of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kam. He was born on 15th Oct.. 1931 in Rameshwaram. His mother’s name was Assiamma and his father’s name was Jainulabiddin. With the great ef- forts of Kalam India launched various missiles. He is called missile man of India. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1997. He became the 11th president of India in 2002. He died on 27th July 2015. Student’s day is celebrated on his birthday.
